Terms of Service

Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Bluegrass Dance Company website and participation in services offered by Bluegrass Dance Company (“BDC,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By using this website, registering for a class or program, or purchasing services from Bluegrass Dance Company, you agree to these Terms and any additional policies, waivers, or agreements presented during registration.
Services
Bluegrass Dance Company provides dance education, classes, workshops, rehearsals, performances, private instruction, and related dance programming for youth and adults.
Class offerings, schedules, instructors, locations, and availability may change as needed.
Registration & Enrollment
Registration is completed through our online registration system.
Students must meet the applicable age or program requirements for the class selected. Bluegrass Dance Company reserves the right to recommend or require placement in a different class when necessary for safety, development, or appropriate instruction.
Registration is subject to class availability.
Tuition & Payment
Tuition and other fees are processed securely through our studio-management and payment providers.
Regular monthly tuition is billed automatically on the 1st of each month unless otherwise stated.
Students who begin after the start of a billing period may receive prorated tuition for their first month.
Registration fees, specialty-program fees, performance fees, or other charges may apply where disclosed.
Families are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method and keeping account information current.
Cancellation & Withdrawal
Bluegrass Dance Company requires 30 days’ written notice to withdraw from ongoing classes.
Tuition charges scheduled within the applicable notice period remain the responsibility of the account holder.
Stopping attendance does not automatically cancel enrollment or recurring tuition.
Missed Classes
Tuition reserves a student's place in class.
Refunds or credits are not provided for classes missed by the student.
When another appropriate class is available, Bluegrass Dance Company may occasionally allow a make-up class as a courtesy. Make-up classes are not guaranteed.
Classes Cancelled by BDC
When possible, Bluegrass Dance Company will provide a qualified substitute instructor.
If a class must be cancelled for reasons within BDC's control and a substitute is unavailable, BDC may reschedule or provide a make-up class.
Weather, facility closures, emergencies, and other circumstances outside BDC's reasonable control may result in cancellation without a guaranteed make-up class.
Performances
Bluegrass Dance Company believes performance is an important part of dance education and may offer students opportunities to participate in community events, showcases, productions, and other performances.
Unless otherwise stated for a specific program, participation in individual performances is optional.
Students choosing to participate are responsible for meeting applicable rehearsal, preparation, attendance, and attire requirements.
Additional performance or costume expenses will be disclosed when applicable.
Conduct
Bluegrass Dance Company is committed to providing a positive, respectful, and collaborative environment.
Students, parents, guardians, and guests are expected to treat instructors, dancers, staff, facilities, and other families respectfully.
BDC reserves the right to remove a participant from a class or program when behavior significantly disrupts instruction, creates a safety concern, or negatively affects other participants.
Dress Code & Class Requirements
Certain classes may have specific attire, footwear, hair, equipment, or preparation requirements.
Current dress-code information will be provided through Bluegrass Dance Company or during registration.
Students are responsible for arriving appropriately prepared for class.
Assumption of Risk & Liability Waivers
Dance and physical movement involve inherent risks of injury.
Participants or their parent/guardian may be required to complete a separate participation waiver, release, emergency-information form, or other agreement before attending class.
These Terms of Service do not replace any liability waiver or participation agreement required during registration.
That last sentence is important. I would absolutely have Studio Pro collect an actual dance participation/liability waiver separately.
Photography & Media
Photography or video may occasionally be taken during classes, rehearsals, performances, or Bluegrass Dance Company events.
Any use of a student's image for promotional purposes will be governed by the applicable photo/media consent provided during registration.
Communications
By registering for a Bluegrass Dance Company program, you agree to receive communications reasonably necessary to administer your enrollment, including information regarding schedules, classes, billing, performances, cancellations, and other program updates.
Promotional email or text communications may be sent where you have separately agreed to receive them. You may unsubscribe from promotional communications at any time.
Third-Party Services
Bluegrass Dance Company uses third-party services for website hosting, registration, payments, communication, and other business operations.
Your use of those services may also be subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the Bluegrass Dance Company name, logo, website content, original choreography, photographs, video, graphics, and other materials owned by BDC may not be reproduced or commercially used without permission.
Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to keep class schedules, pricing, availability, and other website information accurate.
Information may occasionally change, and current registration-system information will control when there is a discrepancy regarding active classes, availability, or pricing.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bluegrass Dance Company is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from use of this website or participation in BDC services.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or protections that cannot legally be waived.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and applicable federal law.
Changes to These Terms
Bluegrass Dance Company may update these Terms periodically. The current version will be posted on this website with its effective date.
